It does not matter how hard you hit.

After yesterday’s dressing down, here is a quote from Rocky Balboa that some or most of you would have heard of it before. Hope that it will urge us to give more to the team and prove our critiques wrong.

Let me tell you something you already know. The world ain’t all sunshine and rainbows. It is a very mean and nasty place and it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it. You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. But it ain’t how hard you hit; it’s about how hard you can get hit, and keep moving forward. How much you can take, and keep moving forward. That’s how winning is done. Now, if you know what you’re worth, then go out and get what you’re worth. But you gotta be willing to take the hit, and not pointing fingers saying you ain’t where you are because of him, or her, or anybody. Cowards do that and that ain’t you. You’re better than that!

One week away, lets get our act together guys!

In relation to this guys, when I hear those words from Coach the first thing I tell myself was “Zul, maybe its time for you to leave if you are “cramping” yourself in the field and couldn’t even find ways to soul search for any better things.” But again it is not good to think that way as a player/leader. When I think again, I just feel like saying, “I, for once will leave the team if any of my boys are replaced.” But that’s not even pretty fair judgement to make. I once thought again that, “Alah, we aren’t going anywhere cause we are going to have a good game next week.” But something COULD prove me wrong. So what? What are we suppose to do? Give up? Raise our hands up and say “Coach, my bad. I will make my way out now.” or “Coach! Now you see what I can do and I will make sure you can’t talk for the next few seconds!” I would say, it could only be laeving all of us individual to choose. Some of us might not think it is serious, whereas for some, we might not know we are at home crying our hearts out not knowing what to do next, ending with a big blow during the game.

Personally, I want the best for us. I believe any ordinary man could come here and make a difference. But hey team, we got to show that we can. Not to show how much ordinary we are and ended up getting replaced. Remember, its not about how you fall, it is about how you get up. So lets get on our two damn smelly feet and Kick some balls/ass. Wooof!
